Trading systems are being built.
QuantDev.ai is an open-source microstructure alpha lab. Packaged trading systems only ship after the research survives — atom studies, memory features, information stack, path economics. That work is in progress now.
The pipeline
What needs to ship before a system does.
Four stages between a market-state hypothesis and a packaged system. Each one has to survive on its own before the next one starts.
- 01 In progress
Atom studies
Raw microstructure atoms — order-flow imbalance, microprice deviation, queue pressure, absorption — tested at HFT horizons for predictive structure.
- 02 In progress
Memory features
Persistence, decay, agreement, saturation, regime interaction. The layer that turns short-lived pressure into a horizon-survivable signal.
- 03 Queued
Metric stacks
Information stack first (rank IC, bucket shape, decay), path stack second (terminal return, MFE, MAE, first-touch barriers, cost hurdle).
- 04 Pending
Packaged systems
Signal definition, gates, sizing, execution logic, validation, monitoring. The algorithm packages the alpha — only after research survives.
In the meantime
Read the research the systems are built from.
The research notes show how raw microstructure becomes predictive state, how memory features survive into economic horizons, and how the metric stack separates signal from story.
